surprise surprise - rogers et al are whining about having another company threaten their monopoly

its the company behind yak apparently.
first, the mount pleasant community centre finally opens its doors and now this. can life get any better???

Who knows how successful they will be? I think the biggest move to competition in the Canadian market was Bell and Telus introducing HSPA networks a month or two back. Prior to this, Rogers was the only network that was physically capable of providing phones like the iPhone.

All i ever think when I hear about more phone companies, is bloody hell, more nobs to deal with when trying to get phone records for investigations, telus is awful.
I did catch something about Canada having the most expensive rates in the world, so competition is good.

staved off the wolves for as long as possible, until employer demanded all employees TAKE a BELL cellphone, and pay for it too. Downhill after that.

Then they insisted on Telus blackberry with them paying for the data plan. Very smart, until they received the bills!!!!!. All that after a whole 'communications' department was supposed to have done research and gotten best value!!!
