Just sad my husband has a Good job offer in vancouver and they were happy to do everything to bring us over even pack our things here but I was honest and open and said I have very mild lupus and so now they don't think that we will be able to get through the immigration process and pass the "not being a drain on canadian healthcare" so feeling down disheartened but i suppose you never know might still get through thank you to anyone who just listens just needed to vent
I know how disheartening this whole process can be, so wish you all the best and hope things turn out ok for you

Good luck mrschewie! Hope it all works out for you

It's a bit unnerving knowing that you might have to move back - we're lucky in that dh still has a job if we do need to go back, but we're hoping that year or two in the Canadian medical system will answer any questions that CIC might have openly and honestly, and then they can make their minds up with all the relevant info...

I have no idea whether that unscientific idea will bear fruit or not, but fingers crossed. Something to think over, anyway!

We came to Canada 18 months ago on the PNP route and then started to apply for our PR card. I was very weary of being accepted as when my daughter was 1 week old. I had double pneumonia and something called cardiomyopthy (heart failure). It took a little while longer but we got in, so keep your options open and best of luck!!!
