early retiree immigration
Hope you guys can give me some pointers.
Sorry mods I cross posted to aus , nz and canada.
Hi just how easy is it for someone in their forties to early retire and immigrate. My partner and I , no kids , and no immeadiate family to miss.
We now both have early pensions , and are now of independant means. Our pension and income are about 30k sterling a year , our mortgage is paid off , and ready for a cash buy of a house small manageable farm for circa 250k sterling. So our overheads are really healthcare if applicable , house bills , and disabled car purchase.
We have a couple of dogs that will be coming with us.
Although I have some carer skills in disabled rehab I wont be working at all , but I may set up a self help website geared towards carers.
Anyone had a similar experience , ie early retiree immigrating without working?

I missed that, I don't know what one of those is but depending on your needs, you might not pass the immigration medical even if you were to qualify under skilled worker/other category.

I know a couple of Britons who have done it, but they -- like BristolUK -- are married to Canadians.

dont think the other half would go for another woman in my life , even if I involved her mores the pity , one laughing at me is enough.
Like all men i have tried trust me....she just said "ok , when you get it right with one woman then you can try two".For the life of me I just cant fathom what she meant.
Still waiting and on the subs bench to a bar of chocolate and a womans diy manual by germaine greer that I am not allowed to read , Ive never seen that bloke on the tv giving tips on paving. But i have a suspicion its nothing to do with putting up lights , although every now and then I do swear hear a minature drill.Must be damn small lights.

Ever thought of Malaysia? Cheap, warm, sunny, beautiful, mostly English speaking and they want you to retire there.
Search 'Malaysia' and 'my second home' on Google.
