also, don't forget the further you get out of drumheller ( to the east) the cheaper the rent gets, i know ours is considerably cheaper than amanda's,

I'm sure she will help you find something, she is a mine of usefull information (mostly to do with redneck drinking holes!!) and was a big help to us!!

Actually if you go to this site http://www.drumhellermail.ca/ and look in the classifieds there you should get a clue as to whats available.

Unfortunately you won't find too much in the Valley Times as everyone in town hates the woman who runs it and places their ads with the mail!!!!!

Areas which are good are Newcastle, Midland and about 5 mins out is Nacmine which is also nice.

Theres a couple of nice bars - nothing to write home about but the place is very friendly indeed!!!!! PM me if you need any info (I live in Drum!)

yeah I'm thinking we do! Kareoke night at the Newcastle bar near me is always rowdy fun too - very redneck but incredibly amusing.

We have a blast and its the one night that I actually believe I can sing "build me up buttercup"

Just outside Drum the rent is free! There's a big red water tower that looks like a golf tee, and which used to be painted like a golf ball on a tee. Near there is a big building with lots of free beds (and room and board is free too)! It's a little tough to get in though, and even tougher to get out.
