I sat my test in Truro because NG was fully booked for weeks ahead. I didn't know the roads in Truro (quite a few one-ways and because it was winter the road markings had worn away which didn't help ). I told my examiner this and he said he had never failed a Brit yet and that we would be driving towards Bible Hill and away from the town centre. 10 minutes later, I had passed my test.

I have always been a confident driver (driven in TO and Orlando ), but still remember how nervous I was sitting this test. However, I can honestly say folks, the thought of the test is far worse that it actually is. It's so easy :)

The test is easy, stick to the speed limits and STOP for 3 seconds at stop signs and you'll be fine. It lasts about 10mins

Thanks guys we will keep you posted of how we get on with the actual driving test although feel a lot better that bit is out of the way

My only wish is that we had a smaller car and not a caravan for the reversing part.....

Well we did, we passed our driving tests yesterday in Halifax and it was really just a formality and not too bad at all. Anyone out there worrying DON'T

We had a few drinks last night to celebrate and think we might have to have a few more tonight. Well thats another hurdle over and done with, lets move onto the next one.

Lisa:thumbsup:
