Driving licenses
Hi,
I am moving to Ontario. I have an American license valid till July 2008. Can I change it to a Canadian license right away, or do I need to go through all the tests again in Canada.
Thanks in advance

I googled the Ministry of Transportation, Ontario and selected Getting a Drivers License from the menu on the left. If you do the same, you will be taken to a page that explains the process. The following text is a quote
"If you are a licensed driver with two or more years of driving experience from one of these jurisdictions you may get full class licence privileges without taking a knowledge or road test. However, you must pass a vision test and show acceptable proof of your previous licence status and driving experience."
The USA is included in the list of applcable jurisdictions for purposes of the above quote

Re: Driving licenses
I exchanged my U.S. drivers license in Ontario in September. The only things I've been asked for was the actual U.S. driving license and my passport. They've also done the eye test, what won't take more than a minute or two. After I paid the fee, they gave me the temporary license, and in about 2 weeks they've send me the driving license to my home address in Ontario.
