So you're living proof they're still not accepting the COPR? I wonder why?

The crossing the border sounds dodgy - if you were a visitor, yes, but your date of becoming resident in BC is when the clock starts ticking (and I don't mean becoming PR, as you might land and leave to return months/years later)... I don't see why they think crossing the border wipes your residency slate clean?

Ah well. You got a license. Shows MikeUK that's it's not just his brother though, eh?!

Yup, got it in the end but, as I said, I didn't want to run the risk of leaving at the border and returning only to find that my not having the PR card and having expired my 90 day period as a vaild driver could ultimately land me in multiple bother ... just as well, then, that the right hand here still doesn't know what the left seems to be doing.
