They're supposed to require proof of driving experiance, on the web site it says just showing them a license with a date over 2 years ago isn't enough. I took allsorts with me just in case, but the just had a look at my UK license and away I went!

Indeed, and even though the speed limits are lower than the UK, people seem to do a damn good job of smearing their asses across the road!!

Technically I guess I could have shown them the fact I've been on hubby's insurance policy for the past 6 or so years, just goes to show that its actually very difficult to "prove" you have driving experience!

Tell me about it, I had no idea what to take.. In the end I didn't need anything though haha!

I don't know about other provinces but here in Manitoba the new graduated licensee has to have zero blood alcohol for 5 years. It gets the young'ns used to not drinking and driving.
