We have a Focus estate (station waggon!!!) and love it!!!!

We now also have a 'go large, or go home' truck.......an Avalanche, which we also love and is doing about 20 mpg!!!

Do we need a truck.......well at the moment probably not, but one day in the not too distant future we hope to own a caravan (trailer thingy) but for now we have one.......because we can!!!!!

www.hemi.com

The hemis of the 50s were legendary engines, the new ones are genetically unrelated..but at least they pass the emmisions regulations. Basically D-C have a very Savvy marketing group and tapped into the nostalgia for the true muscle cars of the 50s.

"To see a truck in your dream, implies that you are overworked. You may be taking on too many tasks and responsibilities and are weighing you down. On a side note, pregnant women often dream of trucks or driving trucks. This may be a metaphor of the load they are are carrying or an expression of their changing bodies." (http://www.dreammoods.com/dreamdictionary/t3.htm)

Just to offer a different point of view.

What have you been smokin
Definately not overworked as I gave up my job 18 months ago in anticipation of impending Canada
Overstressed possibly.
I think I am dreaming because I sold my car at the weekend and am driving a 13 yr old Ford Orion until our work permits come through or the arse falls out of it. I have a feeling the latter is more likely.
I think that the pregrant women simply hate their husbands for doing it to them and want to run them over with a truck.

Yep, my kid's love it too!!!

It handles just like a car, but unlike some of the 4 X 4 it doesn't throw you all over the place when you go around corners......
we test drove an Expedition, that was scary!!! we even took the guy from the garage back out with us, as we thought there was a problem with it's steering.....no he told us they always felt like this and in fact he thought it handled very well !!!!! Hubby felt physically sick after !!! Not the vehicle for us, although it looks great!!

Went to test drive some Fords at a garage in north Edmonton when we were over in March but the salesman was so crap we gave up and tested the Hondas instead. Had a go in some of the GM group SUv's and they made me sea sick.

Sounds familiar! Although I went for the luxury of a 96 Vauxhall Omega Disease-al (Ferrari red) with 200,000 on the clock, class
Get the biggest truck you can! I bought a huge one, but that's only because I have a really small penis ..but that doesn't matter anymore

What will you drive in the winter?

No, seriously!

My boss has one, summer only. Its no so much the RWD/ lightweight dynamics, that could be taken care of with decent snow tires. Its not even the soft top in the winter that puts him off...the hard top works OK. Hes just not prepared to take the chance of getting smushed by a big truck loosing it in the the snow...and he rides bikes in the summer, so its not like he's averse to taking risks on the road!

Been there and done that. It was great fun and a brilliant car especially on track days at Knockhill circuit. No practical as a family car nor for the land of giant trucks.
Need big truck to compensate for many many things

Nothing, I'm inherently flakey. While in Calgary I dreamt about Antarctica for the first ime ever and I'm still wondering about that. I don't need drugs... much.

I avoid pregnant women like plague.

Enjoy your truck.... get one you can sleep in.

You must have been talking to the better half, she said almost exactly that. Still, I am working my way through my not insignificant stash of wine and whisky prior to heading over so the dreams are surreal but can't find them on the dreamsite. Another sherry vicar, don't mind if I do.
