Does anyone else think this would work?

What about a BE Canada frappr map, would that work? The US forum has one I think.
I agree it's a good idea but like all other questions on this forum, I don't think people will want to search the archive or check out even a sticky thread to find people near them, they'll just ask. Again and again. And again
I think it's also beneficial to keep all useful info in the archive rather than PM/emails between members (don't you just hate it when someone answers a question with "I've PMed you" - tell us all if it's useful information!).

Added myself in Toronto. Tried inputting Scarborough, ON, but it moved me to Scarborough, England.
I agree a thread as you propose is an excellent idea.

Ill add to that, why not start a POLL, they may listen to that.
When people ask about house prices, shopping, schools etc then it changes from prov to prov
Would be alot better if you got the anwers more direct to the area you are moving to
Go on give us some new areas

Still think a dedicated easy to access place at the top of the forum is a quicker route to finding out if others are going to or already living in your area.
For example...ladymoose asked the other day if anyone was from North Battleford in Saskatchewan.....if Steve_P hadn't have noticed her post, she might not have got her answer.
If she could have clicked on Saskatchewan and he was named there it would have been a lot more simple.
People are forever coming on the boards asking..."Is there anyone going to .....or living in......"
Oh it was just a thought

When you started the thread there was a option at the bottom about adding a poll and how many you wanted to add ie sections.
you may need to start another thread with a poll added
Any problems i will do it for you, just YELL, as i think its a fab idea
