Anyone know where you can get ribena in Toronto? On the hunt for some, so far this has been fruitless (no pun intended).

The larger bottle is about $8, much better value than the regular bottles that cost ~$6

We bought a bottle of Ribena when we arrived and it's hardly been touched 8 months on. Our kids now drink just water, though we sometimes have a can of frozen lemonade on the go too. The No name one (about 80cents) is actually quite pleasant and could pass for M and S Still Lemonade.
Don't ever make the mistake of buying Kool Aid. I succumbed and bought them a packet last week and made it up, omitting any sugar. It was absolutely vile, when I read how much sugar you had to add, something like 2 cups to 2 litres. I tipped it away before a drop passed their lips.

We've seen ribena at most supermarkets, but only the Asian one, although sometimes it's in the international foods section (Superstore, Fresh Co), and Metro put it with the lime cordial etc. I've bought the British one from our local British shop, but the Asian one (stubbier glass bottle) doesn't taste the same to me.
Has anyone had any luck finding the British one (taller plastic bottle, ingredients in English
)?

Best tip I have for G&Ts is to make ice cubes from tonic water and use them instead of regular ones, then as they melt things dont get diluted down.
That and "add more Gin", but thats a no brainer.

I prefer the stronger breakfast tea types, some orange pekoes are a bit lightweight for want of a better description, like "tea for beginners".
