I like buying school supplies. Always seems like money well spent!

I was listening to the CBC news this morning and the announcer repeatedly referred to "Doctors Without Borders" in one article. The story then cut to the reporter on the ground who was talking about the MSF workers.

Does CBC really think that Canadians don't know what 'Medecins Sans Frontieres' is/means?

In Quebec they probably used the French, but there's a scary old Welsh lady near Windsor they don't want to upset. Without a doubt some Canadians would not be able to translate, nor some Brits. Watch for those turning their groceries around and around looking for the English side on the labels.

I'd have no idea what 'Medecins Sans Frontieres' is/means, I had to google it to confirm, but I don't speak French, but with google now I know what this means....

I'd venture a lot non French Speaking Canadians would not know what it means, the school systems don't really appear to teach French to an adequate level out west anyhow.

Really ! In all the years I've lived in Canada I have yet to come across anyone who drinks that stuff. I thought it was the preferred tipple of British football "fans". It must be a local thing to where you are.

There is a drink which clearly shows that the divide between Canadians and Brits is wider than the Atlantic...
