Um... I hate to ask a question about our favourite area....Oakville....but can anyone recommend a good curry house there (or somewhere within reasonable no car travelling distance)? Apart from homemade and a rather fine Boston Pizza Chicken Tikka Pizza I've been curry free for 2 years! Just thought I'd make the most of an opportunity!

Try brampton mate, as suggested by one of the fellow members!!

My husband asked his collegues where they go for a good curry. The answer tended to be "at home". Sigh.

A read of the fine print reveals that Chicken Vindaloo is actually made from Seal Gizzards and Beef Satie is made entirely from Caribou testicles.

They are as good, or bad, as any cook-in sauces I've tasted. i.e. they are tasty but not really authentic.

There's also The Tandoori Hut on 10th st but I prefer The Maurya.
They have an "all you can eat buffet" on Sunday lunchtimes, $12 per adult, $6 per child. Great value, the kids fill up on naan and don't eat again all day
