Craner is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Crane Operator

I've been a qualified Crane Operator for a few months now, and have always wanted to immigrate to either the US or Canada. Crane Operators are on 'The List', so it looks like a real possibility.

Obviously I would need at least a year more experience in the job as I am still new to the trade. What are the chances of a 21 year old single male with no real ties immigrating?

How long are Crane Operators going to be in demand in Canada? I'm looking at another year at least, so will this occupation still be on the list? What's the longterm demand?

As much info please!

I don't think 'the list' will be changing soon, even with a change of govt. Just get your year 'on the job' and meanwhile gather your papers.

I'm pretty much like you, with no ties, and this will probably make the process easier.

All the best,
