Default A Corrie question!

My friend and I were just trying to remember what happened to Toyah Battersby. You know - Les and Janice's younger daughter. We just cannot remember how she went out of the series.

Can anyone remember?

Hi Liz,
I think she went to London to work in spider's organic cafe. Is corrie in Canada only 3 months behind the UK, whereas I beleive that Eastenders is a year behind.

Hi there

i think we are much more behind than that!. At the moment sarah has just lost her baby and leanne battersby has just returned to the street. I remember watching some of these before i moved to canada 18 months ago. This is why i beleive that the TV channel has decided to place four hours a week here to try and catch up.
East enders is about 18 months behind at the mo.
i could be wrong!

CBC for Corrie, most Canadians I know call it Corny.

The series was devised by a guy from Ottawa - not a lot of people know that.

Most Canadians I know that watch it think it is great! A refreshing change from the american soaps!
OK I have had a look through my Corrie books but found nothing about Tony Warren being from Ottawa.....so perhaps you could explain your comment...

I watch corrie more here than i ever did back in the UK. Simply becuase more canadians watch it than brits and you feel kinda foolish when people ask you a qeustion and you can't answer.
A good analogy would be a canadian living in the uk and knowing nothing about hockey! Dooh!..... i don't see that happening.
