Default Converting Canadian dollars to US

Hi guys

I currently reside in BC, but will shortly be applying for TN status in WA state.

My question is I need to convert a chunk of money from Canadian to US...any advice on where to get the best rate? I bank with Coast Capital here in Canada and they take quite a cut from you.

Any advice/tips appreciated!

I use my Canadian bank to wire money to my account here in the US and I find that the more I transfer the better rate I get and also if you don't want cash then you can get a better rate (money order instead of cash). When I am in Calgary I also go to a currency exchange which has better cash rates than the banks.

Try Calforex they have a few locations in BC.
