Coach Drivers
#1
Have seen lots of threads on this site about truck drivers, but does anyone have any information on coach drivers. I have both my truck and coach licences just wondered if there was as many opportunities for coach drivers

Logic suggests to me that there is not nearly as much work for coach drivers as there is for truck drivers. I mean, all I have to do is look around me. There are far more trucks delivering basic commodities, like groceries, than there are coaches transporting tourists.
Nonetheless, there are opportunities for coach drivers. There are a few scheduled, intra-city bus services. Greyhound is a national one. There also are local ones. For example, between Calgary and Edmonton we have Red Arrow.
In addition to that, there are coaches that take tourists on guided tours. Those of us who live in Calgary see a lot of those kinds of coaches in the nearby Rocky Mountains.
Brewster, whose headquarters are in Banff, Alberta, is one of many companies that provides guided coach tours through the Rockies to Vancouver.
I'm not familiar with the companies in the eastern half of Canada, but all you'd need to do is do a Google search for coach tours in Canada.
