ahhh that's brilliant, takes ya back.

there is a website where you can download some of the old programs, think I have it here some where, I'll dig it out and post it.

What do you think of the American comedies?? I'm into Everybody loves Raymond at the moment, gets better every show.

I have heard from a friend that if you use google and type in"mininova" you can access the programmes that you want. :thumbsup:

These were my favourite 70's British comedies- George and Mildred
The Rag Trade ,Dick Emery Show,Man About The House,Robin's Nest
Are You Being Served?,On The Bus and the Carry On Series.

Thanks everyone , just discussing some of them old comedies has brought back happy memories.
Thing is i don,t know how to use mininova + bittorent to download .If anyone can send me a link on how to download from them sites,i would be grateful.

a lot of these comedies were good in their time, for a much simpler less complicated era (not saying that's a bad thing mind you)but really don't age well in my opinion, are exceptions like fawlty towers ; am still partial to a bit of dads army too,

i like the american veriosn of the office, they've done a good job on it, not made the mistake of others before them in trans-atlantic conversions

- also not a comedy, but the american 'life on mars' seems pretty good too from the first couple episodes

One I'd love to see again is "The Mary Whitehouse Experience", but it would appear either it has never gone to video/dvd or no-one ever copied it as there is no You-Tube :(
