Thanks for all the links. We both passed the test today and it really was a doddle. You do have to read the book as I would not have known when confederation was or which were the first 4 provinces to join, but most was stuff you could work out.

We should get a letter within the next few months for a date to get sworn in and then we have a massive party!

Yep I took my test in August of 2005, letter received in December 2005 for the ceremony in early January 2006.
Friends threw a Canada party for me with food from each province, temporary tattoos (for the kids really) it was like a Canada Day party in January.
Have fun and congratulations.
