Citizenship question

Is your ceremony tomorrow at Heritage Park, Steve, or do you have to wait?

She said August, apparently there is a ceremony at Lake Minnewanka that she put me on the list for but she couldn't guarantee I'd get it, so she said wait for the letter.

Like anything else I suspect it's your luck and depends on the person you get checking things.
One of the things I know for sure they check (because I asked them specifically on the phone when I was doing my own citizenship) is whether you've paid all your taxes. So having copies of your tax assessment returned to you from ottawa along with e.g. bills et cetera and possibly email printouts of flights etc would probably be enough along with your passport.
I remember what sparked the phone conversation:
Me (calling immigration on the phone): "It says here to write the days away from Canada and the dates you entered and returned. I've been outside at least twenty times and can't remember the dates. Can you look in your database and tell me?"
Immigration: "We don't keep that kind of information."
Me: "Then how am I supposed to know?"
Immigration: "Just do your best".
So it really will depend on whether they think you're honest or not whether you get the rubber glove or the rubber stamp.

I looked at the criteria for citizenship when I got LPR status so I kept a detailed list of where I had been and for how long, the guy did say my record keeping was much better than average.
I took all my notices of assessment with me as well and it never came up.
