Hi,

I submitted my citizenship application in May, 2000 and am still waiting. I was given a questionnaire to fill Sept, 2001 and mailed it right back. Since then, I have calling the Call Center every 2 weeks or so and everytime I was told all background checks were done and a hearing in Toronto was being scheduled. Do you know how long this scheduling could take?

Regards,
muimui

Quite a long delay, usually in Toronto you should have had the ceremony about a year
after application. If you applied in May 2000, there is definately something wrong. I
think that you should take more action than just phoning the call centre.

What kind of action would you recommend?
