From Citizenship application to first contact with CIC
How long should I expect to wait after subbmitting a citizenship application to having the first contact from CIC?

CIC received our application on July 17th, our account on Ecas was updated around Sept 30th and we received our letter of acknowledgement on October 18th.

I sent mine in July had no contact yet, so hoping to get something before Xmas.

I'm in Fort McMurray at the moment, but my wife tells me I've received a letter from CIC.

I applied 13 months ago and I haven't heard a thing since.
Application sent to Sydney.
