Default CHF personal account in Canada

Hi all,

Does anyone know if any banks in Canada offer personal savings accounts in swiss francs?

We bank with HSBC but they stopped offering this last year. From my google searching so far, the only accounts I can find are commercial/business.

Thanks.

I don't think it's likely either. My ex withdraws her alimony in CHF, I deposit to a joint TD account in dollars and she transfers the money to her account at a Swiss bank (Credit Suisse, I think). It all works smoothly enough but the fees are such that it would make no sense for a savings account. I think you'd have to leave the money in CHF for a very long time before the exchange rate shifted enough to make back the fees.

Thank you both for your input. The issue is that I have a fair amount of savings in CHF, that I eventually want to convert into CAD, but not all in one go as the exchange rate is fairly volatile right now. Tax reporting etc. would be a lot simpler if I could hold it in a Canadian institution, but it seems that isn't going to be an option so I'll have to maintain an offshore account and transfer across as we go.
