Red face Changing Driving Licence

Hi - Can anyone help? Do I have to take a test to change over my English Driving Licence to a Manitoba Licence. If I do what does it entail. Also any truckers around, how long did it take to pass your practical driving test?

Sue

MB started doing exchanges for GB licenses last year sometime. Didn't do it myself, but Scimdarren et al have successfully swapped semi-recently. They all said it was quick and painless iirc

All we had to do was go to the local drive test centre and take in our GB licence and take an eye test.Once this is done, you have your photo taken and are given a temporary paper licence until your proper one comes in the post.Just make sure you dont go at a weekend when the drive test centre is busy and its really quick and easy!

Don't forget the fee - $75 when we exchanged ours in 2004.
