There has been a fair bit of poaching over the last year or so! Calgary also have 27 PNP places to allocate this year - not that we needed that route as it happens - but beware, there's a few more en route !! And there was you guys thinking you could get away from us !! (It's actually not that large a percentage of the total but maybe they just pick the good 'uns to go in front of the camera - it's that british dashing-good-looks thing, isn't it ??!!

1) The UK paoched police are prepared to stick it once they get in (for Gods Sake even policing Forest Lawn and the rest of 'the hood' cant be any worse than Moss Side)
2) The UK poached officers have more experience\more grit and rise up the ranks faster (most of the 'guys' interviewed are Sgts)
3) We have a lot of female reporters here in Calgary and they get turned on by the accent.

I know I push it but I also know how far I can push it.
This time I was 7kph over "my" limit and I never do that, but for some reason It got away on me and I don't know how that happened.
Oh well it's not the end of the world, "worse things happen at sea" as me dad used to say.
