Default Canada V England

Has anyone felt the excitement building up amongst Canadians as they savour the prospect of Canada meeting England in the Cricket World Cup on March 18th? Me neither! But it's all true because this great cricketing nation called Canada will be playing the minnows England on that day and I'm having to decide who I'll be supporting. It's going to be a tough decision but as Canada winds itself up to fever pitch excitement over the event I'll be hoping that Canada stuffs England because that would be so cool. Imagine the street parties, the party atmosphere everywhere!

Now, where can I find a replica Canadian cricket shirt for the day? It's going to have to be a hockey shirt, isn't it?

Personally, I'm more looking forward to the U20 World Cup which kicks off in early July here in Canuckistan. I hear the England team didn't qualify?

devil worshiper.

have you ever tried a day at the cricket.

well let me inform you.

i dont think i have ever had so much fun, our coach has 24 people on it, once a year we toodle off to the cricket, i would say about half dont like it that much, but you try and stop em, you have never seen so many empty beer cans in your life, it is a fantastic game and a fantastic day out.

England beware, Canada (well, the Canadian skipper) actually hold the record for the fastest WC century, 111 from 76 (100 in 67) balls vs the West Indies....

...They also hold the record for the lowest score too... 35 all out.

Anything could happen!
