You will be sorely disappointed then - speaking as a parent of five, there is no "longer and freer(sic) childhood" here. It's North American, not British and kids becomes mini adults here way way faster in every sense you care to think of. :cool:

I would have to disagree. Canada just does a better job of hiding superficiality which exists in bucket loads. Any propensity for violence and crime is less visible not less prevalent. You have a fraction of the population of the UK scattered over a land mass that is millions of square miles bigger. Easy to avoid what you don't want to see. :)
