We were lucky enough to get one of those letters from High Commission asking us to go for medical sand then send or take passports to them 30 days later.
We had our medicals on 15th September, however this week my wife had a request to see Doctor for a further check. This has been done today and should be with the High Commission early next week.
The problem is we were due to take our passports on 16th October, but now not sure if we are supposed to.
Has any body had this situation and what should we do?

When we heard about the "send your passport in 30 days" letters, this was the very "what if" scenario that popped into our minds. No idea what the right answer is. However, trying to put ourselves in your position, this is what we think we would do. IF the doc gave us reason to believe that the subsequent test is likely to have resolved the outstanding query, then we would proceed with forwarding the passports in the original timescale, with a covering letter explaining what had happened. We would assume we might have to do without the passports for a little longer than the normal couple of weeks. All just speculation though - hopefully someone will come along with hard facts that you can rely upon.
Regardless, best wishes with making it to the back end of the process.
Kind regards,
Eamonn & Janet.
