Errrr, I think we've already covered this is a few threads. It's not the norm either, the average for this time of year is -7c.

The fact that i run my own renovation/construction company and work out side year round and the fact that i have seen similar weather since winter2002 says enough!!!

Look at the records you'll find weather like this occurs for a few days each winter but it is far from the norm.

That's the weather on the surface of Mars, right?
Makes NS look positively toasty at -20.
Is it true that you get warnings on the radio not to drink hot coffee outdoors in case your teeth crack? Whats that all about?

I certainly hope you show a little more tact when dealing with your clients/customers.
Enjoy Victoria.
Enough said.

Bah, you call that cold? We're getting -51 (with wind chill) tonight.

And our furnace had stopped working this afternoon
. Fortunately it was just because there was a wind-blown drift on the side of the house that had buried the air intake and outlet under a foot of snow.

No, actually, work becomes far more interesting when you don't know if you'll freeze to death getting to and from the bus
.
Kind of makes up for my not taking a job in Antarctica after I left university; they don't have Tim Hortons down there, as far as I know.
