Errrr, I think we've already covered this is a few threads. It's not the norm either, the average for this time of year is -7c.

The fact that i run my own renovation/construction company and work out side year round and the fact that i have seen similar weather since winter2002 says enough!!!

I've been in Canada since 1963 and Calgary since 1974 and this is not normal weather by any stretch.

Look at the records you'll find weather like this occurs for a few days each winter but it is far from the norm.

And what difference does it make whether you work inside or out, the temperture is still the same and the figures for year on year don't change. :confused:

And our furnace had stopped working this afternoon :). Fortunately it was just because there was a wind-blown drift on the side of the house that had buried the air intake and outlet under a foot of snow.

No, actually, work becomes far more interesting when you don't know if you'll freeze to death getting to and from the bus :).

Kind of makes up for my not taking a job in Antarctica after I left university; they don't have Tim Hortons down there, as far as I know.
