Hi Scott,

If you are under 30 then you can qualify for a Bunac visa - just do a Google search for 'Bunac' to take you to the website. Basically it gives you a years open work permit for Canada, but if you're interested (and young enough to apply!) then you'll need to get your skates on as applications opened in December and there are a set number of visas which go quite quickly.

Or if you are not eligible for Bunac and need to go via a Temporary Work Permit (or would prefer to), then this article may be useful to help you understand what you and your potential employer would need to do once you have a job offer............http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Tempor...Permits-Canada

You're unlikely to find anybody on here that has bricklayers jobs, but have you read the job hunting section of the Wiki? If not then it's well worth a read to understand how the hiring process works in Canada. http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Catego...Hunting-Canada

I also think this article is fairly essential reading.............http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Labour_Shortages-Canada

Have fun reading and good luck!!
