Default Bringing in food

Hello all,

As per http://www.beaware.gc.ca/english/brirape.shtml

"
When products are permitted, there is a maximum limit of

15 packages or fewer
weight not to exceed 250 kilograms per person
may be subject to regulations in the province of destination
"

I'd like to bring some cheese, spices and canned vegetables when I go back but not sure how much I can take? Does the "15 packages or fewer "restriction apply to each or am I only allowed to take say 5 packages of cheese, 5 packages of vegs and 5 packages of spices? Thank you.

You can bring in up to 20kg of cheese, up to a value of $20 (according to your link)...I think that gives you some idea of the realistic limits. Note also that soft cheese is not permitted.

Interesting link. Looks like I'm good to go when I stock up on Heinz baked beans (cheaply) and Robinsons High Juice.
