WE have a burley bike trailer we brought out from UK. Its very good and we might sell it to you!!!! (but I would have to ask OH and my daughter - who really likes it, but I think she is getting too old!)

We also have a tag-a-long bike but our 4.5yr old is still too small for it. She can't touch the ground and that scares her.

Well we bought the MEC single seater, fantastic quality and the price of a shonky one from Crappy Tire. Got an extra bargain in that I got the display model and they threw in the jogger/stroller kit and flag for free saving me $40

Re: Bike Trailers

We hired a bike trailer when our daughter was about 3 and she hated it. She didn't like being so low to the ground, the bumpiness of it and not being able to see much.

When we moved here (she was almost 4 by then) we bought a bike buddy, one of those weird looking extra wheels that attaches to the back of your bike with a seat for her to sit on and she loved it. She loved being up at normal height and enjoyed peddling when she wanted and coasting along when she was too tired. Only thing is you definitely can't risk your child falling asleep as they would literally fall off.

I agree you should try and borrow/hire a trailer type one to see if your child likes it or not.
