Re: Bike Trailers

We have one from Walmart and previously had one from Toysrus - neither one has been better than the other. The walmart one was reduced down to $99 but that was a few months ago.

If children weren't supposed to be put in trailers, why does the CSA approve trailers for the precise purpose of carrying children?

I guess it depends on what sort of trailer.

I have a bike trailer from MEC, very solid and stable and was a much better price than the Chariot ones. Folds down for storage and wheels are quick release, had no problems with it and would recommend it.

At 2 years and 9 months she's not very good at riding her bike, but I do plan on getting one of those when she's older.

Hi,

I have a Schwinn 3rd wheel for my 5 year old - it's just like sitting on a proper bike but it is attached to the back of your bike. We cycled 31 miles the other day with him perched quite happily on the back - he could pedal if he wanted to or not depending on his mood. I bought it for $99 from Canadian Tire. It works great and we love it!

That'll teach me to read the above posts before answering questions - oops sorry....! Ignore me
