Bank Account

Re: Bank Account
We applied for ours yesterday
We have accounts with HSBC in the UK and all we had to do was fill out an international application form from the HSBC CA website and take it into the main branch in Leeds city centre.
The fella who processed it was very nice and helpful and told us he gets one or two of them a month to process.
Hopefully I'll get the account setup in time for when I go over.

Get in touch with a realtor where you are going & they can set it up for you.

Re: Bank Account
A quick google check revealed you have a choice of TD, CIBC OR BMO banks. Personally i would recommend TD.
As an earlier post has said you can open one on line, but if not, just go in to the bank when you arrive and open one up, you are going to have to go in if you open it on line.
