Unhappy Which application do I go for?

I`m currently in a predicament over which application to apply for.
I`ve been looking to make the big step to Canada with my girlfriend who is Canadian.
She is currently residing here in the UK with me.
I have stayed in Canada on several occasions but only on visitors status.
My girlfriend and I are desperate to move to Canada. Her permitted stay here in the UK is until January 2003 as I`m sponsoring her to stay here.
Ideally anything that would speed up a process for Canadian PR would be a dream for us both.
I don`t personally think I would have a problem with employment as I have a skilled trade.
So, any help on this matter would be appreciated, my girlfriend isn`t sleeping too good wondering if I`ll ever be able to move to Canada with her We do eventually plan to marry, but really want to do that when it`s convenient for us.

Regards,
Robert.

You may have quite few options available depending from your plans and length
of cohabitation. If you live together as common-law spouses or partners for at
least a year and can document it then she may sponsor you either while you are
both in UK or as soon as she returns with you to Canada. In the inland
sponsorship route you'll be able to obtain an open work authorization after
case is approved for inland processing. But current backlog of cases in Canada
doesn't make it a quick option - you may be processed faster when sponsored
while in UK. You may contact me directly for more details.
