I seem to be a bit behind here in the Visa process .
I was quoted 18 months on the AOR, not tried to arrange employment yet (Thought, better start looking once I know things are progressing), no house to sell. For Mar 04's who've had medicals / medical requests, is your story / details similar to mine ?.

Our application was 2 adults (me & hubby), no kids. No arranged employment. We were AOR 10th Mar. CHC should now have our results. We have no house to sell and we are month by month on our lease after 26th sept, so as soon as I get the PPR, we give notice at work, notice on the house and book our flights

Hi Wannabe, lots of lucky people with med requests. How desperate are we getting ? I have been reduced to stalking the postman now, I think he attempted to hide behind a car this morning, but I was too quick for him Nice brown envelope, pity it was just for a holiday brochure !!

Any March AOR's had their medical requests and heading to Vancouver ? Or have they all been for the East Coast ?

I put Vancouver on my destination as well (probibly going east or Calgary now) but would like to go to Van if can. Maybe the CHC is doing them East to West? they always say that east to west is always best .

The plot thickens to unravel the mysteries of the CHC (Well, it's something to do while I wait).

Calgary is probably a wiser option than Vancouver, more jobs, slightly quieter, and far cheaper housing. Some people I know have gone to Edmonton and have absolutely loved it from day one, not even having a reccie trip first, how lucky are they, I am really envious. I can't quite get away from being drawn to the ocean, that is why Vancouver Island, but perhaps Calgary and a very large pond might do it
