Born near Rugby, so sort of West Mids. Lived in Belbroughton near Brum, worked in Cov and Brum for a while - then moved east....and finally way out west to BC.

OH and I lived in Coventry, worked in Birmingham. OH was born and raised in West Bromwich. We've been in Canada for just over a year - went back for a week 6 months in, and couldn't believe how filthy and disgusting the whole place was.

Hi, I spent the first 16 years of my life in Solihull, I became 16 years old and I ran off and joined the Navy, and spent 25 years roaming around the seven seas and five oceans. Visiting exotic places and some not so exotic places. Having spent 25 years being cramped up in various sized warships & submarines with between 200 and 1000 people onboard at any one time I desired more space, mmmm where shall I go mmmm ah ! Worked in Solihull for three Years, not a lot of work got done but great shopping.

We live in Norton Canes, Cannock. I trained in St Margarets Hospital in Great Barr, worked in West Brom, Handsworth and Tipton. OH grew up in Essington and Pendeford.

We can't wait to get out of here! Canada here we come asap!:thumbsup:

We are from Sutton Coldfield. We moved out here (Vancouver Island) in August 2007 and LOVE it! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Don't miss the Midlands one bit: We even see more of Aston Villa on TV here than we did in England:thumbsup:

Born and bred Brummies we moved away with OH job in 1992, spent 5 years in Buckinghamshire and have lived in Shropshire for the last 10 years. Off to Fredericton, New Brunswick in July.
