Anyone remmber the form that ICBC need from UK insurers (pdf) ?
Hi,
A while ago came across a pdf version of a form / letter (think it was from ICBC themselves), which you could ask your UK insurers to complete - hence providing ICBC with all the info that they require.
Was sure it was on BE somewhere, but having searched Wiki and previous threads can't locate it.
Does anyone remember it / have it? If so, please could you post the link?
Many thanks.

I think this is the PDF you're thinking of....

It's generally used after you've purchased insurance through ICBC and would still like to qualify for a discount.
For new residents to BC, below are the claims history details that ICBC requires from your insurance companies.
You’ll have to get a “claim history letter” from each insurance company you’ve held an auto insurance policy with during the past eight years. Each letter must:
- Be from the insurance company, on their letterhead
- Be either an original letter, or faxed directly from the insurance company to an Autoplan broker
- Name the principal operator of the vehicle
- Include your policy number
- State the time period you had coverage, and the dates of any at-fault claims
Provide the claim history letter(s) to an Autoplan broker when you buy your insurance in B.C.
You'll find the above information under this link - http://www.icbc.com/insurance/insura...uy_moving2.asp

We had to contact around 5 insurance companies, in Australia and the UK. ... So
why is it that ICBC see the need to put you through a hell of paperwork ... Now,
if anyone ever reads this and has an HSBC account in Canada perhaps they ... On
top of all that, remember that one of the big drivers for installing ATMs
