Re: Anyone Flown with Canadian Affair?
Agree with most of the above - remember Canadian Affair are just a glorified booking agency and not an airline, there can be a distinct difference between the various carriers they use. We've flown with them five or six times in recent years and have nothing but praise for the Thomas Cook flights we've booked through CA. The only problems we've encountered with late itinerary changes, extra stops, etc., have been with MyTravel. You can see what airline does what leg when booking online and usually get a choice within a couple of days of your selected date.
Of the non-CA charter carriers, have flown Zoom once and had no problems.
Having said that, our opinon is just anecdotal, and at the end of the day we pay the cheapest rates available and don't expect the depth of resources that scheduled airlines have to offer when dealing with unexpected circumstances. As long as you can afford a little flexibility with the occasional late itinerary change you should have no problems! And always phone a few days before your flight to confirm!
Oh, and the service on all three carriers mentioned above has been better than I've experienced on Air Canada.

Any good / bad experiences? Should we pre-book our seats, upgrade or will everything be OK on the day?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Anyone Flown with Canadian Affair?
We have just come back from Calgary, we flew from Gatwick, flight was on time, stewardesses were great as it was our first flight. Entertainment good, could do with little more leg room, on the whole for our first time experience of flying it was ok, i would recommend them. We are going again at the end of April, 1 way this time GREAT to start our new life in Lloydminster Alberta, great place. This time though we will have our 4 children who have never flown, and our dog :scared:
