I just wondered - has anyone been to one of these things where you go along to find out about moving to canada?
I am going to the Opportunities Canada expo in Leeds in June... has anyone here been to one?
Are they any good? The whole thing sounds good... I was wondering if anyone had had any positive outcome from going to one?!

It depends on you definition of a positive outcome. We have been to the emigrate show at sandown racecourse a couple of time. I have never been offered a job or found somebody williing to do everything for me. However, I have always discovered things I didn't know and where to find help. There are also lots of people to ask questions and provide answers.

It has always been worth the entry fee. Knowledge is power and it is a huge step to immigrate so reseach is the key.
