Any recommendations on hotels
Hi
We will be visiting in April/or maybe May.
We will be checking out kelowna, Vernon, Penticton and Salmon Arm to see where we would like to settle. Any other places in the area we should take a look at?
We have checked out the net for hotels. We want it to be a holiday as well, so a swimming pool is a must. We have a budget of $90/$100 per room and for instance we have been looking at The Vernon Lodge (Best Western Hotel). This looks OK but you never can tell, any recommendations for hotels to meet our budget.

....all worth a peek for a smaller community angle. Merrit ? Kamloops ?
All are close enough to visit for a recce and to go back if liked enough. If coming from Vancouver and driving, try Hope, Princeton.
You just never know what you'll see in these lower profile places, maybe one will light your fire, location-wise ? It all depends what you're looking for.

....all worth a peek for a smaller community angle. Merrit ? Kamloops ?
All are close enough to visit for a recce and to go back if liked enough. If coming from Vancouver and driving, try Hope, Princeton.
You just never know what you'll see in these lower profile places, maybe one will light your fire, location-wise ? It all depends what you're looking for.
