Paul, good luck mate. Fingers crossed. Well done in not jumping at the salary question, first one to blink loses.

How is the job going ?I think I would actually prefer NS to Ontario ( closer to my cousins for a start ) but I can't start thinking that way ... that way only leads to disappointment as we well know. I did find out last night that the 'main' cousin I chat with every day did actually go to Uni in Halifax or school as she called it, and said Halifax is gorgeous and would suit us so that is encouraging.
Let's hope it all pans out for the best - if it does maybe the disappointment in London Ont was meant to be ? And again if this ..... well you know the rest !
We are keeping our two prong strategy going ( selling to move in the UK and Resumes going out in Canada ) and hopefully something will coincide. If things are still up in the air for Halifax when we have sold, we will go into rented in the UK until a decision is made and then either fly or buy.

Update - chased the company today after over a week as they had said they would get back in a few days.
They have decided to go with a far more junior level person. He has however referred me to another company in Halifax who he knows is hiring and that I would be a very good fit for, so that's something I guess.
The Resume's continue to be sent and the viewings on our house continue
