Another "late in the day" question from me unfortunately, but it's only just cropped up.
Are we OK shipping our goods on the basis of an LMO only?
I ask because we've had Anglo Pacific round today/yesterday, and they've now finished loading our container. We had a mad scramble because they wanted a copy of my work permit, which of course, I do not yet have.
I explained this to them on the phone when I booked them to come round.
Im in work, but apparently, they have left happy enough with a copy of the LMO, but they didnt seem to fully understand what they had in their hand- i want to make sure there arent going to be any nasty suprises with our furniture.
We fly out to Calgary in under 2 weeks, where I'll be applying for TWP at POE.
Cheers

We wasn't asked for our work permit until in Canada and stuff had arrived at port. We just faxed the stuff they asked for and 2 weeks later stuck was delivered to our house. You could get a fax number and then fax copy of permit once you have it.
