i shall however in stereotypical expats style completly ignore any cautionary advice and carry on skipping blindly along the yellow brick road until some red neck mistakes me for an elk.

it dosn't matter, in canada money grows on trees, fountains of honey gush forth from springs deep in the rockies, none of the bears have teeth, all red necks are sensitive deep down and you can by a jet for 50 cents, and thats fully loaded with elk. sexy elk. sexy elk with a glint in their eye for the long lonely winter months ahead.

do you sense that the waiting is making me cynical.

Yesterday, in Canada, a horse "winked" at me (if you know what I mean). I wished it had been an elk.

The problem is avoiding feeling inadequate. I could mount her, with a big step ladder, but would she notice ?

stick your whole leg in, just be careful to take your shoes and socks off first as they can become unattached.

I guess I should wear a crash helmet, in case she gallops off and I dangle behind her.

I'm sorry I don't have a proper picture of the beast as it seems you would share my appreciation. I'll see what I can do tomorrow, in the meantime here (on the left) is a glimpse of haunch.

I enjoyed this discussion developing, but didn't care for Ocean's comment about Dbd's wife. No need to get personal in a forum discussion.

To be fair, I did refer to Ocean living in a "trailer", a term that usually implies a ramshackle single wide rusting gently amid piles of tyres. I expect he prefers "RV" or "mobile home".
