Interesting articles but notice they dont address where these workers will live and if its affordable for them. Look at rents in Fort Mac and how there are hardly any rentals.
Sure they will have jobs but where will these new workers live?

That's pretty much an across-the-board labour shortage in every category, from unskilled to skilled.
Where are all these people going to come from? The vast majority of undersourced categories listed there aren't available to immigrants, not for an immigrant visa at any rate.
I just cannot see why say, a cleaner or a retail clerk would prefer to freeze their ass off in Fort Mac than stay in BC or Ontario.
