Air Transat Transporting Pets......UPDATE
Just spoke to Mark Roblett 01784 431831, he deals with pets travelling as cargo for Air Transat from Gatwick & Heathrow, they DO ACCEPT PETS (cats/dogs)
For flights from Manchester & Glasgow call Steve Daivdson on 0161 498 9090
Also spoke to Steve to confirm roughly how much to transport a choc labrador in a size 5 vari kennel - will be roughly £640 max, may be less but would need other info before could advise exact price.
Thought you would all like to know
Judy maybe you could update the wiki

Did you know that there is nothing stopping you from updating the wiki?

..... Did you tell him to try to get the web-page changed as this causes much unnecessary worry amongst poor old would-be emigrants, who already have more than enough to worry about!!!

He said that they look down their noses at the cargo side of things, and dont like to get involved.
Did say that because of this they are losing customers!

Re: Air Transat Transporting Pets......UPDATE
Hi guys! I've new to this forum, and have been researching getting dogs over to Canada (moving to Halifax in the next 6 months hopefully). Anyway, I have been informed by a couple of breeders (one over here, and one over in Canada) that you can have one dog per person as excess baggage. It only costs a couple of hundred quid rather than the extortionate costs to send them as freight.
Now I don't know how many airlines do this, but I have been informed that Air Canada? does.
Just thought I'd share.
