We've had a few quotes this week. We selected about 4, 2 of which have been recommended by people who have used them. By no means the cheapest, but 'Crown' and 'Anglo Pacific' are names which seem to get a regular mention. Like you, I'd be interested to know of any recommendations.

shipit.co.uk or moveme.co.uk (44 1179828123) free phone 08003890784
have just quoted us a 20ft container (not shared) for £4120 inclusive. from door (Wales) to door (Alberta) with us packing (our furniture will already be packed by a seperate removal coy).

Although I'm not recommending them fully as we haven't used them yet, I was impressed with their quote.

How did you get them to ship. Jut looked at the website and realised it was one I tried to get a quote from a few months back. After repeatedly speaking to various departments and giving my requirements 3-4 times they returned an email saying they have problems with Canada and wont ship anymore.

Just had two quotes for a 20ft container we move Oct 2, anglo pacific £5400, and Wentworth Internationl £4200. This was from Gloucestershire to British Coloumbia, had a few others that I cant remember but they were all around 4-5k

I was (Am!) shipping from NZ...... 10weeks now and my 4 little boxes are somewhere in Oakland, California awaiting US Customs Clearance.... Then there only Canada depot is in Toronto, so they are moving them there, then clearing Canadian customs, then shipping them to Calgary.... Very long-winded.... I dont think they understand the Canadian Customs system either!

How much stuff do you have? Full container?/boxes?
We are using a company called migrateglobal. Their quote was reasonable and their customer service has been fantastic. Lets just hope they come up with the goods (ours!!).
