Probably because g(i/y)psies made it.
I don't tend to like sweet things (apart from willmore, naturally) and maple syrup has to be he sweetest thing available, so it's not really surprising I don't like the stuff. I've never tasted Aunt Jemima's gunk, but I don't think I could dislike it more than I dislike maple syrup.

days at the in-laws weren't bad, picked up our tree...the snow hasn't been up to much, its' taking a break around here, but other parts of the state got hammered.
