argh 9 weeks to go and what have we done ? Nothing Thats what ....actually we have booked the removal company but Thats it and ive not even got a place to live in Canada yet argh .... Why dont people return your emails , i sent them weeks ago (yesterday actually but it feels like weeks ago ) 9 weeks to go and weve got so much to do still . Are we doing the right thing , have we it enough money to survive if i dont get a job straight away argh why are we putting ourselves through all this worry and grief , we Are leaving good secure jobs we must be bloody mad help i think im going mad ..........oh well thanks everyone for listening to my rant i feel better now ......oh s**t ive just remembered something else ive forgotten to do . . Here we go again .....

I know how it feels, we printed off the "to do before leaving list" on the wiki, and went through that systematically.
And they are terrible at answering emails. Use google to find a code for cheap calls to Canada and phone people. Should sort your rental issues out.

I left a great secure job too, you will get another, may take some time but it will happen.

i do have some phone numbers and am going to ring when im home on Friday. We are going to Ontario and are looking at Milton and surrounding areas. I know it will all work itself out in the end and to be honest i cant wait for our new life to start

oh it will. The hardest bit is the lead up to getting on the plane (I found), you spend so much time analysing it and questioning your decisions. Easier once you get here. Have a great new life!

This will most likely be us once we sell the house!! Till then, don't panic is the watchword.... :P

Dude, you're going to have to learn to relax if you're moving here ... if it's any consolation, when we moved we found a place to live the night before we left blighty & it was OK!

Why come at this time of the year, it'll be winter in no time and then you'll never find a job or a place to live. I'd wait until spring time, things will look better then. Good luck.

trouble is time is running out. We originally landed Dec 08 and have to be in Canada by Dec 11 or we wont be able to get our 2 years out of 5 in . We left it late for a number of reasons , one being Mrs arniedog still wasnt sure about coming out to Canada up until a year ago. Work wise im a truck driver and have received an email today from my son who lives in Toronto about a friend of his who's dad runs an agency for truck drivers so if it comes to it ill go and see him. But anyway whats life if you cant take a risk or two
